Gettysburg

Gettysburg is a nationally recognized historic landmark, where some of our nation’s most pivotal moments in history occurred. Gettysburg offers its residents and visitors many opportunities that are not only educational but fun for the whole family.

Given the year 2013 marks the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, where 63 Medals of Honor were bestowed, this quintessential small town is an ideal backdrop for this year’s convention. This year also marks the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and the 55th anniversary of President Eisenhower’s chartering of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
